Fungsi Fungsi ukur yang dimiliki setiap multimeter ada beberapa macam tergantung tipe dan merk multimeter. Akan tetapi pada umumnya setiap multimeter / multitester memiliki 3 fungsi ukur utama yaitu sebagai alat ukur arus, tegangan dan resistansi. Berikut adalah beberapa fungsi ukur yang ada pada multimeter. Ampere Meter Ampere meter adalah salah satu fungsi ukur pada multimeter yang berfungsi untuk mengukur arus listrik. Pada multimeter pada umumnya terdiri dari 2 jenis ampere meter yaitu ampere meter DC dan amper meter AC. Pada multimeter analog dan digital pada fungsi ampere meter ini saklar selektor berfungsi sebagai batas ukur maksimum, oleh karena itu arus yang akan diukur harus diprediksikan dibawah batas ukur multimeter yang digunakan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk menghindari kerusakan pada multimeter. Volt Meter Volt meter merupakan fungsi ukur untuk mengetahui level tegangan listrik. Sama halnya dengan fungsi multimeter sebagai ampere meter. Pada fungsi volt meter ini saklar selektor yang ada pada multimeter berfungsi sebagaibatas ukur maksimum, oleh karenaitu harus diprediksikan level tegangan yang akan diukur harus dibawah nilai batas ukur yang dipilih. Ohm Meter Ohm meter merupakan salah satu fungsi multimeter yang berfungsi untuk mengetahui nilai resistansi suatu resistor atau komponen elektronika yang memiliki unsur resistansi. Pada fungsi ohm meter ini untuk multimeter analog saklar selektor berfungsi sebagai multiplier sedangkan pada multimeter digital saklar selektor berfungsi sebagai bats ukur maksimum suatu resistansi yang dapat dihitung oleh multimeter tersebut. Hfe Meter Hfe Meter tidak selalu terdapat pada setiap multimeter, akan tetapi di multitester master ini terdapat fungsi hfe yg dimana fungsi Hfe meter ini digunakan untuk mengetahui nilai faktor penguatan transistor. Pada fungsi ini pada umumnya multimeter yang memiliki fungsi Hfe meter dapat diguanakan untuk mengukur faktor penguatan transistor tipe NPN dan PNP. Kapasitansi Meter Kapasitansi meter merupakan fungsi yang tidak selalu terdapat pada setiap multimeter. Fungsi kapasitansi meter ini berguna untuk mengetahui nilai kapasitas meer. pada multimeter digital dengan fungsi kapasitansi meter maka saklar selektor berfungsi sebagai batas ukur maksimum. Frekuensi Meter Frekuensi meter hanya terdapat pada tipe multimeter digital tertentu yaitu hanya terdapat di master 2800b. Fungsi frekuensi meter ini digunakan untuk mengetahui frekuensi suatu sinyal atau isyarat pada suatu rangkaian elektronika. 7. Suhu Menu ini juga belum tentu ada di mukti tester lain, fungsi untuk mengetahui suhu ruangan, mesin, suhu komponen bahkan suhu badan 8.
